Mabel Louise Bohannon

Funeral services for Mabel Louise Bohannon, 87 of Cookeville, will be conducted Friday June 6th, at 1:00 p.m. in Cookeville Chapel of Hopper-Huddleston & Homer Funeral Home with the Rev. Rebecca Larson officiating. Burial in Cookeville City Cemetery.

Mabel Bohannon died Tuesday June 3, 2003 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 27, 1916 in Jackson County to the late Harvey Dillard and Lola Elizabeth Holman Hix.

She was a member of Cookeville First United Methodist, Chapel Sunday School Class and a member of the Cumberland Arts Society.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Bohannon was preceded in death by her husband Judge Keith Bohannon.

Survivors include 2 sisters, and brother-in-law,Bonnie and Benson Hunt of Atlanta, and Nell and jack Nichols of Birmingham, AL. And 7 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Ms. Bohannon's family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. And on Friday morning from 11:00 until time of service.
