Aline Maddux

Funeral services for Aline Maddux, 82 of Cookeville, will be conducted Thrusday June 5th, at 2:00 p.m. in Cookeville Chapel of Hopper-Huddleston & Homer Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Pedigo officiating. Interment, with to follow in Salem Cemetery.

Aline Maddux died Tuesday June 3, 2003 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 17, 1921 in Putman County to the late Ridley and Margaret “Maggie” Farris Ray.

Mrs. Maddux attended Salem Methodist Church for 60 years. During WWII she worked for Square D and worked for a number of years @ Lay's 5 & 10 in Cookeville.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maddux is preceded in death by one brother Sonny Ray.

She is survived by her husband Bob Maddux, 1 daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Rob Sexton Jr.of Fredricksburg, Virginia, two sisters, Emma Jean Maynard and Gwen Ray both of Cookeville, 1 brother Charlie Ray of Kingston, TN, and one sister-in-law Mable Lane.

Pallbearers will be Letcher Dishman, Chad Bulluck, Blake Dishman, Lynn Bullock, Bobby D. Farris, Charlie Toler, Tim Farris, Charlie Ray.

Aline Maddux family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
