Georgia Mae Stockton
Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Mae Stockton, 87, of Cookeville, will be conducted Thursday
morning, May 1, at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home
with Rev. J. Glea Shelley and Rev. Jim Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Paran
Cemetery.
Mrs. Stockton died Monday morning, April 28, 2003 in Masters Health Care Center.
Mrs. Stockton was born May 9, 1915, in Putnam County, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late
Horace Eugene and Cora Willeford Harp.
Mrs. Stockton was a member of Paran United Methodist Church; was a former school teacher; and was
a retired personnel director for Saint John Macomb Hospital.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Alvin Taylor Stockton; a sister, Minnie Lee Estep; and
two brothers, Cordell and Raymond Harp preceded her in death.
A daughter, Jackie Stockton of and Mark Kimsal both of Ypsilanti, MI, survives her; niece, Tina
Allen of California; great nephew, John Estep; and great niece, Jackie Davison both of Pittsburgh,
PA.
Pallbearers will be Bill Benson, Russell Phy, Joe Harp, Matt Kimsal, Mark Kimsal, and Michael
Kimsal.
Mrs. Stockton's family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 5 until 9 p.m., and Thursday
morning from 10 a.m. until time of services at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner
Funeral Home.
