Local Home Instead Senior Care Office Teams Up with Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk
Home Instead Senior Care serving the Upper Cumberland is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association in the Upper Cumberland as part of Memory Walk 2007. The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk™ is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Held annually in hundreds of communities across the country, this inspiring event calls on volunteers of all ages to become champions in the fight against Alzheimer’s. In Cookeville, the walk will be held September 15, 2007 at Tennessee Technological University. Death of a Salesman plays thru Oct.6th
The Cumberland County Playhouse’s new production of Arthur Miller’s great American drama, Death of a Salesman, stars leading New York, regional, film and television actor Peter Van Wagner as Willy Loman, one of the modern theater’s greatest characters. “We’re excited to have an actor of Peter’s stature playing Willy Loman,” said Associate Producing Director Abigail Crabtree. “Our audiences will have seen him guest starring on Law & Order and in recurring roles on Rescue Me, All My Children and One Life To Live.” Comfort Suites and Holiday Inn Express are sponsoring the Playhouse’s first production of this heart-filled and powerful classic play, running through October 6 in the Fairfield Resorts Adventure Theater.

Attack uses the “BBB” Name to Attract Victims
The Better Business Bureau System first issued this alert February 13, 2007 and again on April 18, 2007 warning all businesses and consumers across the United States and Canada of a spoofing scam using the BBB name and a false BBB e-mail address to entice recipients to access potentially damaging hyperlinks. The hackers have continued attacking businesses across the Country by changing the email slightly, but using the same technique. The newest emails are targeted at consumers. Read More
